The Benefits of Wisdom: Truthfulness
For my mouth will speak truth; Wickedness is an abomination to my lips. – Proverbs 8:7
Another benefit of wisdom available to the wise is the ability to speak and stand for the truth, thereby promoting truthfulness.
Wisdom, by virtue of its elevated profile, enables anyone who possesses it to be more discerning in their processes and activities before committing to a cause. Therefore, this exercise on its own ensures that the wise person is more diligent in their ways, more measured in their words, and more guided in their commitments.
Someone who is this spruced up is bound to be more conscious about saying the truth at all times, as well as standing for what is true or just. That is wisdom. Also, by being this disciplined, the wise person also gains credibility in the eyes of others, with the facility of being a go-to person in the area where they have been able to make a name for themselves as a standard-bearer.
Therefore, to become credible and be considered someone of value who is renowned for his/her truthfulness, with the attendant benefits that such attracts, you need to consciously court wisdom, and when you have it, do not lose it.
You will succeed in Jesus’ Name!
