being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ; – Philippians 1:6 New King James Version (NKJV)

In conclusion of our weeklong meditation on your role in any good work vis-à-vis God’s role, as expatiated from the Scripture [Philippians 1:6], it is important to emphasize that your role in the equation of any good work, ministry, charity, philanthropy, and other initiatives that are genuinely conceived to bless humankind and improve outcome for people is to work or do it one task per time and move it forward one step per time.

For such initiatives, you are in partnership with God, even though you may not realize that, and He is the One who will be inspiring you to start, if you are sensitive enough to discern His communication rather than the noises of other people and your resources. Equally, He is the One who is also going to work with you to bring such mission to a completion, if you would yield to Him.

Now, having settled this in as many posts that we have published on this series, it is also important to note that the doing is actually the easiest part of the whole process, since God is the One who takes care of the resources required to start and bring the good work to completion. So, you have the easiest part of the bargain and only need to get on it and start working the good work knowing ‘that He who promised [to complete it] is faithful, He will do it [1 Thessalonians 1:24].

With that said, you should not again legislate yourself out of doing what you need to do by dwelling on what you do not have and taking on headaches that should ideally be God’s. Yours is to do, so just do it.

You Will Succeed in Jesus Name!
