Understanding self-definition and Identity

In the beginning, God created… – Genesis 1:1

If you are searching for self-definition and meaning, it is advisable that you closely examine your first activities or spontaneous inclination in a new or natural environment. Those are good indications of your calling or personal identity.

When situated in the middle of infinite nothing and nowhere, in the beginning, the first thing that God did was to create. He created a system called the heavens (note the plurality) and the earth as the bases for His operations going forward. The first introduction we are presented about God was that He created. Creation is part of His DNA. That was His identity. Little wonder He is universally known as the Creator.

Now He has created us like Him; so, if you wish to ascertain your unique identity or personality, you need to consider those things you are naturally inclined to do firstly at the starting phase of something or at a fresh encounter. They could be pointers to your bearing. That is one way to self-definition and identity.
