Purpose: Sent to Facilitate Life
In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. – 1 John 4:9
Another purpose of Jesus Christ is herewith detailed; He came to facilitate life for humanity. He was without sin or guilt, and He had a clean slate. He was also an embodiment of strengths and abilities; nothing can hinder or stop Him. He had vast resources as well, so nothing was beyond or above Him.
Nevertheless, with all these possibilities around Him and the array of splendor, He chose to leave a greater glory in heaven and be counted among sinners on earth. He came to trade off His glory and vast resources for the meagre existence of humans. He came to offer His own life and all that it encompasses to humankind. He came to die the death due to us by virtue of our individual sins.
So, He simply came to do an exchange by taking on our imperfect life and putting forward His own perfect life for us before God. He came to change our status on earth. By accepting to lay down His life for our sins He assumed our own lives and bodies, and our minuses perished with Him in death, even as we become clean and fit to engage God through the new life which Jesus created.
What a joy to be aligned with Him.
You will succeed in Jesus’s Name!
