Knowledge is also tied to capacity. You need to build capacity because projects grow, and with growth comes a fresh brand of challenges than the ones you grappled with when you were starting. One of the reasons entities fail is that when the project is growing, the people running it are not growing at a commensurate pace with the complexity of the project at hand.
To build a sustainable entity you need wisdom, and wisdom comes from God alone. That is why you cannot take the God factor away from whatever you are doing. James 1:5 attests that wisdom indeed comes from God: “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”
Grace is endowed as required to carry out the responsibilities of an office, spiritual or secular. Grace answers to purpose, assignments, and calling, as allotted by God. But no two individuals have the same measure of grace, even if they hold the same office and have a similar calling.
As we have seen, while your location or choice of career/business may be relevant to your success, inasmuch as those are in tandem with your divine gifting and natural strength, these variables can change from person to person and do not necessarily have a universal application.
Success experts and motivational speakers have also told us that success is a function of location. Perhaps, this is true, but that is to the extent that such location refers to an intangible one, as against a physical environment. In the passage above, God tells us that He will prosper whoever observes His laws and strictly adheres to them, anywhere such person is!
The pursuit of success and prosperity has led many to subscribe to career or professional paths that run contrary to their natural strength and divine gift. So many people have chosen perceived high-profile professions with the aim of gaining wealth and fame thereby. But this has often proved counter-productive, as they neither found happiness nor success in what they do. Instead, frustration sums up their days and clouds the joy they could have derived from doing what they were made for.
