A Psalm 1 businessperson does not stand in the path of sinners, so he/she avoids a business line that sinners love to practice, neither does he/she make or market products that promote sin and rankle against the will of God.
For the next few days, we shall be meditating on business lessons in Psalm 1. Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.
Our meditation today shall be on what you do in a time of peace, low activity, or an off-peak period. Asa did what was good and right in the eyes of the Lord his God, for he removed the altars of the foreign gods and the high places, and broke down the sacred pillars and cut down the wooden images.
Today is the conclusion of our meditation on principles that get you to thrive and prosper during a recession. “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep….I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own”
Today we will serve the second instalment on biblical tenets for thriving in the middle of a recession. Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
It is no news that there is yet another economic recession hitting the world, wreaking great havoc on institutions, homes and individuals across the globe. As with every period of recession, this meltdown will see many go bankrupt and under, making it difficult to bounce back
