Our meditation on Daily Sew today shall be on principles for sustaining success. Success means different things to different people; the same way the mode of approaching it is different from one individual to another, not minding the myriads of literatures in the public domain on how to achieve it.
Psalm 1 businessperson is devoted to the word of God and is fanatic about His counsel. That is the reason he/she meditates on God’s word day and night. The word thus becoming the light with which he/she sees and the lamp that offers direction to his footsteps – business decisions.
This is a continuation of our series on meditating on the profile of a Psalm 1 businessperson, as well as the business principles inherent in the psalm. The blessed man delights in the law of God; and, in the context of our discourse in the past few days, a Psalm 1 businessperson conducts their business dealings in a way that delights God. A Psalm 1 businessperson delights in knowing and following the counsel of God. Obeying God gives him/her fulfilment, as against indulging in practices that rankle against His grain in the name of doing business.
We will close out our meditation for the week by continuing the third part of our series on the profile of a Psalm 1 businessperson. He does not poise on the seat of scorn and launches a tirade against individuals, setups, the government, and the system. The Psalm 1 businessperson is a systematic thinker, an intelligent implementor and a solution provider.
A Psalm 1 businessperson does not stand in the path of sinners, so he/she avoids a business line that sinners love to practice, neither does he/she make or market products that promote sin and rankle against the will of God.
