The second companion of wisdom for our meditation today is discretion, which the dictionary defines as the ‘quality of behaving or speaking in such a way as to avoid causing offence or revealing private information.’ You can also call this tact.

The Benefits of Wisdom: Creative Variety – Another benefit that wisdom can confer on the one who has it is a variety of creativity. Wisdom can help you come up with an assortment of ideas, a range of goods, a diversity of solutions, and multiple offerings. It is such a desirable asset.
The Scripture says the person who finds wisdom is fortunate because wisdom yields more than silver in profits and offers something higher than gold in gain. And therein is another benefit of wisdom. Its value is greater than money, silver or gold. It offers high value.
But it does not end there. It also says that all, not some or even most, but all the things one may desire are no match for wisdom! Now isn’t that grand? That means wisdom is the height of all desires and the ultimate acquisition anyone can have.
