Here is a Daily Dew insight on some principles detailing how to attain freedom and success.

But now after you have known God, or rather are known by God, how is it that you turn again to the weak and beggarly elements, to which you desire again to be in bondage? – Galatians 4:9

Humans, when caged by self, dogma or fellow humans cannot be free, neither can they manifest their full potential nor succeed in their endeavours. The very thought of freedom, manifestation, and success suggests an image of an outward flow of activities rather than mere inward blossom.

However, freedom and success do not happen without some degree of internal and external struggles. These restrictions usually come in the form of limitations imposed by the self, by others or the environment; and it is to the extent that we overcome them that we can be free to become all we want to be and succeed.

Therefore, to be free or to succeed, here are three keys you may find very helpful:

Go out: you cannot reach your full potential unless you go out of your comfort zone. Have you seen a tortoise moving before? No matter how big or small it is, it cannot move anywhere until it juts its head out of the shell. Now, for the tortoise, the very fact of coming out of its shell represents a danger as it does not know what lies out there or what could happen in the next station it crawls to. However, to progress from the spot it is, it first has to come out of its shell and test the environment by pulling out its head. Humans are no different; there is no progress unless you go out of your shell.

You cannot succeed unless you discard the limiting beliefs and self-doubts that have held you down for whatever length of time. To grow, you need to proceed from one level of reasoning or operation to the next. To succeed, you have to go out of the mire of nonchalance and average performance.

To be continued…

You will succeed in Jesus’ Name!
