In the passage above, we see the heart of God concerning living and every activity tied to it. God expects us to function by His word. That means He expects us to work, study, interact, pursue, marry, husband, wife, parent, prosper, and so forth in accordance with the instructions He has decreed concerning such in the Holy Bible.
Most manufactured products are sold with a user manual for easy understanding of the components, functions, and usage by the consumers. The more complex a product is, the more detailed its accompanying manual will be to help the end users make the most of it.

Nehemiah was not the only person who was agitated about the ruins of Jerusalem; there were probably other people like him who were equally burdened. But he was the one who was bothered enough to express his concern. He might not have staged a protest, but the frown he wore was expressive enough to get him the attention of the king who could make a difference. And he got the royal pass he needed to legitimise his agenda.
The question to you is, if the record of those who are actively engaged in the work of God in your church, locality or operational base is being written, will your name be there? Will you be counted among those who are faithful in service or committed to the work of God?
