And since we have also seen that the fruits that can be produced from the word are elastic and don’t follow natural laws, that means the greater the stretch of your desires, the more attention you need to accord the word. If you need more, then you must do more. Being committed to studying, hearing, applying and obeying the Bible, or the Word of God, is therefore the secret of constant productivity.
The soul is, perhaps, the most important part of the human entity. It is what scholars usually call ‘the real man,’ ‘the hidden man,’ or ‘the inner man.’ The body is essentially a cover for the soul. The soul is to the body, what the central processing unit (CPU) is to a computer; it is the part of man that conditions behaviour, ideals, attitudes, performance, spirituality, etc
Genesis 1 recounts that even whilst the earth was ‘dark and without form’ God spoke and light flooded the whole universe on the strength of His word. If His word could illuminate such massive space as we know the universe to be, and turned the formless mass into an identifiable entity, your issue is definitely no match for the aura of His word, if only you will make time to seek it.
Confusion can arise from societal, financial, marital, parental, career, business and other concerns; and the longer it stays unresolved, the more it preys on the mind. And once the mind is so belaboured, depression sets in; and as long as depression reigns, body carriage, personal performance and productivity are the first victims of a depressed mind.
How do you stay connected to God? Through constant prayers, intercession for others, Bible study, fellowship with the brethren, ministering God to others, maintaining fellowship with the brethren, and commitment in your local church, among others. Of course, time is a limited resource and you might feel there isn’t enough of it to do all of these and still be on top of your game in your career or business.
